The thumbsticks on this thing are insanely precise right out of the box—I landed shots in my first match that I'd normally miss. The Energon finish has a nice subtle shimmer under my desk lamp, and the grip texture keeps my sweaty palms planted even during frantic fights.
The Energon colorway looks even better in person than in the photos, and it's got a nice grippy texture that doesn't slip during long sessions. Setup was quick and the thumbsticks feel precise right out of the box.
The four rear paddles are positioned perfectly for my grip, so I can slide my middle fingers without hunting around mid-match. The Energon shell has a nice matte texture that doesn’t get slick when my hands heat up, and it’s held up well through a couple of weeks of daily use.
